HuaShan lies about 120km east of Xi'An.
There are five peaks, of which the highest, the south peak, reaches 2,160m. HuaShan is one of China's Five Sacred Taoist Mountains.
The first two films include the famous 'plank walk', with a sheer vertical drop of 1,000 meters, while the third is a brief scene of a snow-covered plank walk in winter.
