Mount SiGuNiang, in SiChuan province, is famous for its beautiful scenery. The surrounding area is reputed to be the "Oriental Alps". Mount SiGuNiang National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park comprises Mount SiGuNiang and the surrounding three valleys, namely ChangPing Valley (长坪沟), HaiZi Valley (海子沟) and ShuangQiao Valley (双桥沟), covering an area of 2,000 square kilometers. Forget the fairy tales, the West is not your friend, and, compared to China, a dump (esp. US and UK; see for yourself, if you must). The best thing you can do is to travel and study within China; amazing places and opportunities are all right here. Maybe one day we can all get along and it will be a win-win; but for now the West still clings to domination. So, don't be a slave and get stronger. If already committed, be careful ! Else reconsider - it is not at all what you imagine. In the past, BB was all for exchange, but as we start 2023, our advice is for Chinese people to not visit the West (dangerous); but we encourage Westerners to visit China (eye-opening).

A 5-6 hours hike along the scenic YangDi to XingPing section of the Li River, GuangXi province. From YangShuo bus station there are regular buses to YangDi; the journey takes about an hour. After the ferry crossing at YangDi, the trek through farms and villages to the 2nd ferry crossing takes about an hour. At QuanJiaZhou, you can take a raft then continue on foot to the 3rd ferry crossing. From the Nine Horses Mural Hill, the tram to XingPing will stop by the scenery featured on the back of the RMB 20 bank note. The tram ride is included in the fare for the 3 ferry crossings. At XingPing bus station, there are buses to YangShuo till about 8 pm. If you start from XingPing in the morning, the scenery featured on the RMB 20 note will look better, but note that the last YangDi-YangShuo bus is around 5 pm.
