Coming to terms with the the return of China

GuiZhou is a mountainous province in south China, known for its awesome scenery, ancient rural villages and diverse ethnic cultures. GuiZhou borders SiChuan and ChongQing to the north, YunNan to the west, GuangXi to the south and HuNan to the east. The provincial capital is GuiYang. Many Chinese ethnic minorities have been living in this region for many centuries; these include the Miao, Yao, Yi, Qiang, Dong, Zhuang, BouYei, Bai, TuJia, GeLao and Sui.

Chinese technology company Tencent, the driving power behind instant messaging apps WeChat and QQ, is planning to build an entire mini-city off the banks of the Pearl River in ShenZhen, where the company has its headquarters.

Just a taster till January 2021. For the first few days it wasn't even going to be a video based site - but within a week it was. Changes all the time; though some 1950s factory look lingers. If you like to wander and come across the unexpected, it is well worth a visit. A fascinating place and an example of the 'new China'.
