The Canton Tower in GuangDong province is the world's tallest TV tower.Not only does it offer excellent features for visitors, it also unusual in being distinctly feminine - curvacious and sleek, very unusual for a skyscraper. The SpiderWalk runs from 170 meters to 350 meters in height.

ShanHaiGuan, east of Beijing at the coast, is at the eastern end of the Great Wall. This is located near QinHuangDao and is closely associated with China's first emperor. Qin Dynasty: 221 - 206 BC. Qin Shi Huang joined together walls at China's northern frontier into the first Great Wall. He also ended feudalism and unified much of China. JaiYuGuan, the western-most gate of the Qin Great Wall, where trade along the old Silk Road also took place, lies thousands of kilometers from here.

Hángzhōu lies in ZheJiang province

Step back in time with Tim and Glo as they visit HóngCūn, in the historical HuiZhou region of southern AnHui province, near the south west slope of Mount HuangShan, plus the close-by MuKeng Bamboo Forest. The architecture and features of the approximately 150 residences that date from the Ming and Qing dynasties are among the best of their kind in China. One of the largest residences open to visitors, ChenZhi Hall, also contains a small museum. Together with nearby XiDi, the village is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Scenes from the film 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' were filmed on location here.
