Around SuQian 宿迁, JiangSu province
SuQian is a city with a cultural history of 2,500 years. The earliest use of the name was in 762 A.D. during the Tang Dynasty. The city is located on the North JiangSu Plain, with a highest elevation of 71 m over sea level and the lowest 2.8 m only. The elevation is gradually reduces along northwest to southeast. SuQian is abundant in water resources and the water surface area is close one third of its total land mass. There are two freshwater lakes in SuQian, Lake HongZe, which is one of the four largest freshwater lakes in China, and Lake LuoMa. Four rivers run through the city, including the the Grand Canal. Agriculture, including aquatic produce, accounts for about 25% of the area's economy. The population is around 5 million. Attractions include : * LuoMa Lake Scenic Area: Situated in the northwest of the city, it covers a total area of 375 square kilometers (145 square miles), dotted by many natural scenic spots and historical sites. * QianLong Temporary Palace: Named after the esteemed Qing dynasty emperor, this is a well-preserved building complex on the south bank of LuoMa Lake. It was first built around 1684. * ZhangShan Forest Park: 7 kilometers (4.3 miles) north of the city, the park has a beautiful mix of mountain and water landscapes.

Filmed in July 2013. With Sticker Travel. First film shows the village of HongCun in AnHui province. Scenes from the film 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' were filmed in HongCun, which is close to the south slope of Mount HuangShan and a UNESCO World Heritage site. The second film shows some places from WuYuan County, JiangXi province, including LiKeng village. Many of the well-preserved structures here date back to the Tang Dynasty, around 700 AD.

Emotional stress and our health / illness
Thoughts on how emotional stress / trauma can get stuck / repressed (suppressed / buried / hidden) and have a big impact on our current health / 'diseases'. The insights of Pavlov (conditioning) and Freud (repression, the unconscious, projection, ...) remain key facts in psychology ... Emotional stress is being stuck in the past, in some deep-rooted ways. To live in the now, those roots must be uncovered and removed. True living is not reliving the past, or fearing the future; it is about being in the now, detached from past conditioning / beliefs, and the ensuing fear of / dreams of the future. Eat when hungry, sleep when tired, live while you're alive. What you do now, is what will live on. Simple as that.
Narcissists, psychopaths and other toxic people
A first step in getting out of a trapped life, to a real life, is to become free of toxic people. Nobody is perfect; but most people know, to some extent, their faults, feel empathy and try to be better. But some people cannot see their faults, lack empathy and are always 'right' - the most important thing to know is that they cannot be 'fixed', understood, or healed by you (only a highly skilled psychotherapist stands a chance, and that's partly because there is no life relationship). If you cannot (yet) get away, at least become aware that it is not your problem. One can sense some similarities in dynamics with geo-politics.
