798 Art Factory, DaShanZi

The 798 'Art Factory' is actually a reincarnation of a large multi-factory site that dates back to the 1950s. The old industrial units are now emerging as galleries, studios, bookshops, installations, workshops and cafes. The area is in DaShanZi in north east Beijing (beyond the 4th ringroad). You can take a bus or taxi from DongZhiMen subway station.
